DeBerry Insurance Agency to host 10th annual FREE Shred Day 

DeBerry Insurance Agency will host their 10th Annual FREE Shred Day for the community on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the agency, 5232 Main Street in Spring Hill.

FREE Shred Day has become a signature event for DeBerry Insurance Agency over the past decade. The event was inspired by the need for clients and members of the community to safely discard identifying papers.

“As insurance agents, we recognize the importance of protecting your identity,” said Eric DeBerry, Owner of DeBerry Insurance Agency. “We began offering this event as a service to our community. The event continues to grow year after year. We are honored to be able to give back in this way as we have strived to serve our community since we first opened our doors in 2003.”

DeBerry Insurance Agency’s FREE Shred Day is held each April during tax season when many people are cleaning out files and paperwork. The event also honors Earth Day. All the paper that is collected at the event is shredded on site and later recycled. To date, the agency has collected an estimated 35 tons of paper for recycling.

“We have watched this event grow into such an important event for our community,” said Chris DeBerry, Owner of DeBerry Insurance Agency. “We have attendees who look forward to this event each year.
